About Me

Who I Am
I'm a software engineer from Arcadia, CA and I'm currently working at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's degree in computer science and hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Current Role
I'm currently on the Embedded Cybersecurity team, developing cryptographic software for U.S. military communication systems. Across a range of classified programs, I've maintained, implemented, and debugged embedded software, while working hands-on with classified hardware where I've been able to learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Most recently, I've led requirements gathering, traceability, and design for a new plugin on a classified crypto program.
Previously
Before Collins, I interned as a QA Software Engineer at Dassault Systèmes in Long Beach, CA, where I worked on manual and automated testing. I'm driven to keep growing within the defense and aerospace industry and hope to continue building projects with real meaningful impact while deepening my knowledge of software development along the way.
Hobbies
Outside of programming, I enjoy hitting the gym, discovering new music, collecting vinyls, watching the latest movies in theaters, and finding new places to eat!
Experience
Software Engineer II - Embedded Cybersecurity
September 2025 - CurrentCollins Aerospace · Cedar Rapids, IA
- As a software engineer at Collins Aerospace, I've had the opportunity to develop and maintain embedded software for cryptographic systems supporting U.S. military communications. So far, I've been able to work across five concurrent programs. I've owned the requirements and design for a new crypto plugin, authoring DOORS requirements and creating the architecture for it, that ultimately fed into the Software Object Document for the NSA's review. I've also debugged classified hardware and have learned how to diagonse and troubleshoot. I've also debugged Security Verification test scripts in Python that were apart of NSA verification for software releases.
- It's been a steep but rewarding learning curve, and I'm looking forward to continuing to grow my expertise in embedded systems and software development. I'm grateful I took the leap to move to the Midwest for the opportunity.🌽
QA Software Engineer Intern
May 2024 - May 2025Dassault Systèmes · Long Beach, CA
- During my internship at Dassault Systèmes, I gained hands-on experience applying my software testing skills, performing both manual and automated testing on our DELMIA Data Science apps to ensure they were bug-free, met user requirements, and satisfied functionality specifications. I also wrote SQL queries to verify data accuracy and improve efficiency across our database.
- Through this process, I collaborated closely with developers and gained a real understanding of how software development works in industry. I'm thankful to have gotten my start here.🏖️
Bachelor of Science, Computer Science
June 2022University of California, Irvine · Irvine, CA
- At UC Irvine, I took a wide range of courses including Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management, Web Development, Software Design, Software Testing, Software Engineering, Requirements Analysis, Operating Systems, Machine Learning, and Programming in C++,Java, and Python.
- I graduated with a 3.87 GPA and was on the Dean's Honor list six times. I'm grateful for my time here — the rigorous, diverse coursework and strong academic performance across a wide range of topics gave me a solid foundation to grow from in my career. I also miss the amazing food nearby in Orange County, especially the Korean food, Vietnamese food, and late night donuts at Seaside Bakery. Go Anteaters, zot zot! 💙💛🐜

This was my favorite movie of 2026! The plot is simple. A boy wishes for his crush to love him and his wish is granted but it doesn't turn out the way he wants. The execution, pacing, and tension in this movie is great and just proves you don't need a large budget or expansive world to make a great movie. I'd recommend this movie to any horror film or film lovers.

This is my current favorite album! I've been enjoying this one from Drake a lot and feels like a return to form for him. He faced a ton of criticism last year from his infamous "rap beef" with Kendrick and I think this album serves as a great response. Kendrick said he wasn't welcome in the bay area and he responds with a track produced by bay area legend P-LO. Kendrick said he runs to Atlanta for street cred and he responds with a track called "Ran to Atlanta" featuring Atlanta legend Future. Overall just a great album with hard flows and catchy melodies as a response.
